Make or female I've known both it doesn't matter the gender they are snotty and bossy. I eat Sage in soup...it's a medicinal herb...a name??? Eh.

I once knew a boy named River who had a younger brother named Sage and an older sister named Echo.

One of the rare few names I see as completely unisex. I don't slightly prefer it for either gender.

I prefer it for a boy, but I really think it's best for a dog, a lovely brown Lab. I never say this about names - to me they work for any species most of the time - but I just can't imagine being named Sage.

I love this strong name! I like it slightly more for a boy than a girl.
