Reminds me of that one Ed, Edd, n Eddy episode where Double D's middle name is Marion and all of the street kids ridicule and rag on him for it. Marion, while feminine in nature, could still work for a male. Although the effete aura of Marion might dissuade parents. There's a reason why "John Wayne", "Pat" Robertson, and "Suge Knight" were sobriquets for Marion. I wouldn't worry about it sounding too out-of-field feminine. I think in a world full of baby Jaydens and Kades, Marion will look like an alpha-male Hannibal in comparison.

Suge Knight's real name is Marion. If that isn't a menacing enough image then I don't know what is!

I've known men named Marion. They often go by a middle or nickname, but it's a good formal name, and also a way to honor Mary, whether this be a religious or family tradition.
