But Federer is Swiss. Is "Of Mice and Men" (or any classic American novel for that matter) all that popular in Switzerland? Maybe Lenny is short for Leonard and Leo is short for Leonardo...?

I have always thought this a sad Steinbeck name and so am surprised that Roger Federer named one of his twin boys Lenny (and the other Leo-- aren't they both forms of Leonard?). Still, anything Fed does is perfect in my book.
