I know some one named druke but not drake.

lissrose30 Says:

I totally agree. All I can think of with this name is the character.

jshreck Says:

We named our now 11mo son Drake. I loved that it's unique but not unusual; it's also cute and fitting for a little boy but strong and stately for a man.
I am not a fan of the rapper and hate that people think that's where we got our inspiration.

indiefendi2 Says:

I like Drake more than Jake. Jake is boring. Drake is stately! And I like the rapper as well, right now I don't love him enough to name a child after him but it's a strong name.

KateMB Says:

This is a family surname and I have seen the meaning: dragon. This is definitely going to be my sons name.

hellogoodbye111 Says:

Too much association with the rapper

I love this name. But I also love the Gone series, so it's on the same level as Bellatrix--awesome name, unusable due to a book.
