I think objectively this name is fine-- it's on-trend as a surname-turned-given-name, begins with "Beck-" a la "Beckett," also made up of two syllables and ends in a nasal sound (like all of those two syllable -n ending names that are popular for boys right now). However, there will always be the unavoidable association to David Beckham. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a kid with this name will go through life with "I guess your parents were big soccer/football fans, huh? *nudge, wink*" which I imagine would get old after awhile.

I like this as a name but I probably wouldn't use it. I absolutely adore Brooklyn for a boy though.
