About Baylor
Baylor is a possible occupational alternative to the tired Taylor, especially for a horse lover.
Baylor for boys#386 US
Baylor's 2014 ascension to the US Top 1000 for boys is probably thanks to its fashionable two-syllable, r-ending, occupational surname feel. Think of it as Taylor with a twist.
Baylor is also the name of a Texas university with some controversial associations.
Pronounced BAY-lor.
As of October 2026, Baylor ranked #694 in US births in 2025 SSA.
