Having trouble editing my comment. We chose Adell as our daughter's first name! It suits her perfectly; she's strong and sweet, just like the name.

LowSlash Says:

I really like Adele! Although I do prefer the Adell variation, as it's been a middle name tradition on my mom's side for generations. We're trying to decide whether to use it in the middle or first name spot for our daughter (due today!).

I just got Adele

I loved Adele even before the singer's breakout. It's short and sweet but holds a lot of personality and is weighty, intelligent, vibrant and substantial. And I think it's one of the super international names out there that can work in many different cultures and countries.

It sounds like a name I would use for my daughter should I marry.
