Ronan is one of my favorite popular, -n ending, having-mass-appeal boy names. It sounds charming and has a charming meaning too ("little seal" is insanely adorable!). At the moment, I feel that Ronan sits within that nice space of being popular without being heard everywhere like Brayden/Mason etc.; I just hope it stays that way, and that Ronan won't become so overexposed that you just think "blah, bland" in association to the name.

vintageluvs Says:

No way! I love the names Loki and Cillian (the "bad guy" in the TV series Once Upon a Time before he turned sort of good). There's definitely something appealing about the bad boys, Ronan included. Ronan is very alluring, and let's face it, no little boy stays little forever. :D

alyssum Says:

Is it wrong that I like this name more now that it's a bad guy name?

Guest Says:

Is it bad that I like Ronan for a girl? hahaha

Guest Says:

Ronan the Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy made this name so evil.

strawberrydino Says:

After watching Guardians of the Galaxy, I've gained a new hatred for this name. ((side note)) It sounds like a weird alternative to Roman..

Orchid_Lover Says:

I liked this name when I first heard it, but at the moment it is associated with Ronan Farrow's annoying, nasal voice. I'd probably still use it if my husband really liked it, though.
