I like this name, but i can't bring myself to use it on a boy because it seems unfinished. I think Lucas and Luke seem more masculine. I don't like Luca for a girl though.

SoDallas3 Says:

Luca is an option for a future boy. SO is Italian and it's pratically the only Italian boys name I like. If he has a brother, it'll most likely be Jonas, for my German ancestry. The combination I am thinking of right now is Luca Rowen Henry.

Such a lovely idea to choose a name ending in -a for a boy! It's just as masculine as Ted, or Frank, but just has that extra depth to it. Refreshing!

I loved this name so much I had to give it to my son. It's a strong name and also a unique one here in the US. Another meaning for this name is 'Bringer of Light'. This meaning helped me decide to name my son this and he holds true to his name, being the light that breaks through every darkness that may come my way. Luca is a great name.
