Love this. I don't like it for boys and I don't particularly like Brooklyn for boys or girls (but see that as more of a girls' name, too). Yet, somehow - I do really like the name Brooke. It feels like more of a nature name, and it's just really pretty.

So pretty, peaceful and calming. This one is hard to say no to for me! Great for a girly girl or sports lover! Blue is my favorite color and I love water (I'm from the Pacific Northwest!) perfect for me!

I like the name Brooke and i am sure as time goes on i will eventually learn to LOVE the name Brooke. Because that is what happens most of the time. I am not sure if i would use it as a first name. I would probably use it more as a middle name and would probably use more like Brooklyn for a first name if i wanted Brooke to be in the first name. I LOVE the name Isla Brooke with Brooke for a middle name. And I LOVE the name Brooklyn Reign with Brooklyn as a first name!!! : ]

I don't like it, it just sounds so bleh. I know three Brooke's whom one spells it Brook and frankly I'm sick of hearing it. I call one Brooke Peep and the other Rooke. The other is just Brook.

Love this, especially with the nature association.

Brooke is a good nickname for me. It's not really girly but it's nice enough, kind of like Blair's cousin.

I've the same trouble with Tabitha, it's literally my #1 pick for a future daughter, but I don't want my cousin (also named Tabitha) to think that I'm using it to honor her...so I don't know what to do!

ugh I'm in a pickle because I freakin LOVE this name and would use it in a heartbeat but I don't want to name my future daughter after my cousin

This this name can never be sophisticated to me because of my sister. My sister is someone who is a complete tomboy, likes to push buttons and play the rough games with the boys. So that's the image I get with this name. Plus side, she's the only Brooke I know.

I could never use it because it's already my cousin's name but I love it and it's perfect as a middle name especially.

I like Brooke because of Brook Raboutou, She is a rock climber, a picture of grace and strength.
