This is my dad's name. The only problems he's ever had with it are in an anglophone culture, where people aren't sure how to spell it ("Think Andrea with an S at the end") and their pronunciation isn't much better. He usually goes by Andy unless he's with German family.

I named my son Andréas back in 2010, and have always gotten compliments on how original it was, let me tell you even at his young age he definitely fits his name definition lol. I really hope people don't start naming their children after him lol, I kinda like the fact that no one else around has his name, it makes it special and unique just like my son.❤
