I think Crim would be a cute nickname. Also, generally, if you can't think of a nickname, use the first letter of their name. Crimson would be "C".

Skittlewiddles Says:

I once had a coworker who had a daughter named Crimson. The name is out there.

Mhill46 Says:

Pretty but I would never ever ever use it due to the association with the Crimson Tide football team. (I'm a Tennessee Vols fan) my family would give me hell for it if I ever used it.

I know what you mean. Occasionally, you meet someone whose name shouldn't work, but somehow does on that individual. Crimson is a better spelling, in general terms, though.

SparkleNinja18 Says:

I know a girl named Krimzyn and she wears it well... I think Crimson is a much better spelling, but the name suits her. She has red hair so it's almost cheesy how well it works.

paulapuddephatt Says:

I agree. More of a middle name, really.

paulapuddephatt Says:

Scarlet or Scarlett is a more attractive name, but this is usable. I can't think of a cute nickname for it, though - not essential, but might help.

Jasmine-Joy Says:

I do really like this name yet wouldn't name my kid this

Hylian Wizard Says:

Yes! I think Crimson Chin actually ruined the name before I even thought of it. But I do like Scarlet (with one "t", that is! I'm very particular).

TheHumanCanvas Says:

This just makes me think of blood. IMO, Scarlett is much prettier.

AldabellaxWulfe Says:

I've only seen the word 'crimson' used as a way to describe the tone of blood. Also, it's not feminine at all, in my opinion at least and... anyone else think of The Crimson Chin from Fairly OddParents?

Imnotputtingmynameonline Says:

I love it in a way...but would probably only use it as a middle name. :(
