Tilly can be used as a nickname for Natalie too.

Sylviefleur Says:

I loved the band "Tilly and the wall." and always have liked this name :)

SloaneSquare Says:

Tilly is great fun, it's in the realm of preppie nicknames like Bunny, Kitten or Muffy but can actually stand alone as a name. I can see it on baby and an old lady.

NameLover 11 Says:

This name is so cute. Much better than the over used Lily IMO. I like it on its own, or short for Matilda, Tilda or Talitha.

ChantilleElla Says:

My full name is Chantille which is a variant of Chantilly, hence where the Tilly comes in. But I have never gone by anything other than Tilly. Tallara, now that's an interesting name!

EasterBunny Says:

I like it too. I think it's very sweet :-) Is it your full name? I know of two Tilly's, short for Matilda and Tallara.

ChantilleElla Says:

This is my name and I honestly don't understand the hate for it. I get compliments on it when I introduce myself, and people really seem to like it in person. I've never, ever met another Tilly in my life, but nobody has ever misspelled or mispronounced my name. It's a complete gem of a name; super uncommon, but easy to spell/pronounce, cute sound, no bad connotations. I'm grateful to have a name like Tilly :)

bopeep Says:

Sounds like a cow's name.

RoddyThlayli Says:

I really like this name, but I can't shake the hat association (I have a Tilley hat).

jordalini Says:

I dislike this, it's like till, as in tilling the soil.

Guest Says:

Do you realize how childish you sound? Secondly 'Brit' is short for my full name. Grow up.

SunKissedChild Says:

I agree... It looks too close to "silly" for my liking.

Sylfessev Says:

Honestly, I prefer the Tillie spelling...
