I find Oran much more handsome than Oren, even though they sound the same. Like a mix of Owen and Aidan (and O names are trendy right now so maybe this one will pick up in popularity soon)

Is this a variation on Oren?

Makes me think of Oran berries from Pokémon. However, I'm sure only people who are REALLY into the games would think of that, as they're not a major game component or anything. So go ahead and use Oran if you like! I do, even though I prefer Oren.
