Not sure what "flat-footed form" is supposed to mean? My name is Lora, and I'm so glad I wasn't named by the original name (Laura). I've been told all my life how unique and pretty my name is, so that's better (in my opinion). Additionally, the pronunciation of Lora is not the same as Laura, so that's something to consider. They're not exactly the same name. 😊

I honestly think Lora is so gorgeous. What does calling a name “flat-footed” even mean?

My grandmother's middle name is Lorraine, so Lora feels like an unexpected way to honour her. The combination I am loving at the moment is Anna Lora Lark.
