Darius sounds cool and refreshing, while also being an ancient regal name. Darius sounds really versatile; I can imagine a Darius being anyone from an artist to a go-getting corporate guy.

I love it; it fits the aesthetic of most of my favorite names- three syllables, modern-seeming but with roots, not super common, great sound and meaning and has nickname potential (but nicknames aren't an absolute must).
