I love Bea but don’t like Beatrix or Beatrice. Is there anything else it could be a nickname for?

Sweet, but I think it works best in the middle. As a standalone first it might be a bit too sweet. Beatrice, Beatrix or Beatriz are better formal options.

Bee. My friend is named Beatrice but she's Italian so it's pronounced Bay-uh.

I used Bea as my daughters middle name to honor my Grandma Beatrice. She said her name as Bee-trice so My daughters middle name is said as Bee. Such a pretty/vintage name no matter which way you say it.

I'm very fond of my name. My friend has it, and she pronounces it "bee", which I find nicer.

My name is Beatrice and for all my life Bea has been my nickname, however not pronounced live "BEE" but as "BEE-AH", which honestly I find more beautiful and unique... no to mention, Bees sting.
