The top baby names in the US for 2018 are led by Emma at Number 1 for girls and Liam for boys.

Along with Emma, the Top 10 girl names in the US include Isabella, Sophia, Ava, Mia, and Charlotte.

Along with Liam, names ranking among the US Top 10 for boys include Noah, William, Oliver, James, Benjamin, and Elijah.

The US list of popular baby names were released by the Social Security Administration in May 2019, calculating statistics from the previous year.

The official list of most popular baby names is a guide to what names babies actually received in the US in that year.
