For me Rosemary is a name of my mother's generation, Rose a Victorian/Edwardian name, & Rosamund a medieval name. Rosanna has a lovely flow & the Toto (& now Weezer remake) song is a nice bonus (as someone whose name is a mid-20th-century name w/a hugely popular namesake song that's a shrieky mess IMO, having a nice song w/one's name in it is important!).

prettier than Rosanne.

I think it has a really pretty sound.

I think it's a lovely name❤
and I don't like nameberry's habit of slamming names, a bit unnecessary imho

paulapuddephatt Says:

I love the name so, so much.

rosebud Says:

Seriously! I actually emailed the nameberry team about this because the description used to be even more negative, sadly. It's a beautiful name and the one I chose for my daughter. Whatever. Haters gonna hate.

morning_glory Says:

I don't understand Nameberry's slamming of this name . . . my cousin is called Rosanna and I think it's a beautiful name. It flows just as well as Susanna and has the potential to be just as stylish (not that that even matters, but . . . ).

Wittyusername103 Says:

I have actually met a Rosanna and she was one of the coolest people I've met.

I would use this name if only for the ability to sing "Rosanna" by Toto to my daughter.

This is a super gorgeous combo name. I don't think of "Roseanne", I think the A adds the glory to it.
