Named my first child, a daughter, Maddyn. Spelled with a Y to make it a bit more feminine, and get away from the John Madden questions.

This is a nice name for a boy or girl.

This is my baby name for number three. Haven't even conceived yet, but I heard it recently and just knew, boy or girl, it was the name of my child. I have two girls and they have Irish boy names as well. I love that this works both ways and pairs nicely with the middle names James and Ashley for either gender respectively. My favorite nickname is Maddy, especially for a boy, but I couldn't figure out how to get there without the overly popular Madison, Matilda or Madeline. I even find it more appealing than the over used Maddox for a boy as well. I love it so much I am not going to tell a soul for fear they may ruin it for me! So ssshhhhhh, our little secret.
