Reminds me of Lenora Crowley in "Letters to L.C" on HPFF. It is a lovely name and I'd definitely use Lennie like she did; Leo could work at a stretch as well.

I don't agree that this name sounds "aged". Nora is trendy again, and to me, Nora as a short form of Lenora would be beautiful, and I like the name in full, also.

This site needs to update it's info. I think Lenora is a beautiful name and it means "shinning light."

I really love this name! I'm very unimpressed by the info provided here on it, which is only someone's opinion that it sounds "more aged" than another name (an opinion, by the way, I heartily disagree with). As someone else said, a name's Nameberry info should not just be one snarky comment. I know an artist with this name and I think it's quite lovely and unique, not to mention easily pronounceable. I think it would be a beautiful choice!

Why is there no info on this name here besides a snarky comment?
