I really love this name and plan to name my son Hezekiah one day! (farrrr in the future! lol) but I would have his nickname be Ki :) (like Kai/Ky) but I do think Hezzy is cute too in all honesty! I love that it is hebrew and my jewish side of the family will appreciate that but also it's pretty unique and I personally think it's very handsome and cool!

I don't think it's too much, I think it actually works really well

Oh I love Ezzie! I know an Ezekiel who goes by Ezzie too. I'm a bit worried about the alliteration in Henry Hezekiah, do you not think it's a bit much?

I love Hezekiah (see post below)! My husband was the one who suggested it too :) I love Henry Hezekiah, it sounds great! We have Elliott Hezekiah for a future son, nickname Ezzie. I like your idea of the nickname Ziah too.

Also, I considered the nickname Ziah if I did actually name my son Hezekiah. To me it just seems more masculine than Kiah, probably because of the similarity to Zion. I'd appreciate your opinions on Ziah!

If my husband had his way he'd call him Hezzy for short, that's definitely not happening!

I thought my husband was mad when he suggested Hezekiah for our son but now it's really growing on me. I don't think I'll ever use it as a first name but possibly as a middle name. I currently like Isaac Hezekiah and Henry Hezekiah. I believe my husband's main reason for liking it is because along Hezekiah in the Bible is a great guy worthy of being names after.

One of my favourite names! My husband really wanted to use it for a first name, and although I adore it, I'm not brave enough. I will definitely be using it as a middle name though. King Hezekiah was a great man who did amazing things. We studied him in school and I loved reading the Bible stories with him in it too. Although I have never met a Hezekiah, I have a few friends of friends that have this name or have used it for a child.
