I do like the name, however I don't care for Havelock Ellis but he wasn't the only person in the world with this name, but yes it is extremely rare. I see it no more usable than Henry or Ellis. This name is also a place name in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, U.S. and Swaziland. There is also an island in India named Havelock.
