I love this name, I honestly like it more then Eliza for Elizabeth. It's also a good nickname for Bethany, although I like it on it's own too.

I can't stand this name. I hate it as a form of Elizabeth. I don't like how abrupt sounding it is, with the way the TH ends so roughly on the tongue and it sounds so close to bath. I prefer it to be part of a long name though, like Bethany- if it must be used. Rather then just a stand along nn name. I've also never met a good Beth (or Bethany) I actually love Elizabeth though, but I think its because of the emphasis on the first half of the name rather then the Beth half.
