Aurembiaix Origin and Meaning

The name Aurembiaix is a girl's name meaning "from the lower golden land".

Aurembiaix was an impressive medieval countess, whose father Ermengol fought for her to inherit his lands, title and estate. Aurembiaix later fought for her right to succeed her father, and being a skilful negotiator was able to convince her local nobles to back her, despite being a woman. She later saved her city from invaders by dressing local women in men's clothing to give the appearance of greater military might. A year before she died she married Pedro, exiled prince of Portugal. When she died, she had no children and therefore she was the last of her dynasty.

For some reason I actually really like this name.... I agree with yourlocaldumpster, it is very ethereal and snowsbeloved, i do find it intriguing. Although the spelling and meaning are cool, I am not sure if I would actually use it, though.

Very interesting and beautiful name! Not sure I would have the courage to use it though. Maybe as a middle name but i'd still be leery of using it.

I don't know how to spell it, but I think it starts with like 'Eenalula' and goes on. I'm pretty sure it's a Samoan baby name, and we just call her Eena.
