I've always loved this name (the original spelling) but it's so popular. :( Opinions?

In one name book that I have this name is listed as a girl's name. I like it, but I won't use it since it is SO popular for boys.

I see it primarily as a boy name, but it's definitely more plausible for a girl than Howard or Wallace.
