About this list

I’m calling this one Sweet Summer Child. Names in this category are Hufflepuffs and hedgewitches, flower children and cottagecores - sunny, cozy, cheerful, warm, and relentlessly optimistic. Colors and textures include honey and gold, mustard and ochre, amber and burnt sienna; scrapbooks of polaroid photos full of slanted golden sunlight; baskets stuffed with half-finished knitting; cups of floral tea and biscuits dripping with honey; stacks of books with pressed flowers marking the pages; honeybees buzzing just outside cottage windows; and endless summer days spent frolicking among fields of flowers - chamomile and marigolds, daisies and dandelions, Queen Anne’s Lace and towering sunflowers.
