LOVE Tor! Nothing much else to say really: it's such a simple, clean, strong-sounding name. I love the double meaning: both gentle and warlike. I'd use this for a son!

This is my dad's name, though he spells it with two t's. Funny story, he was born with the name Torrey and whenever he would tell people his name, they would never get it right. It also sounded feminine, so people thought it was short for Victoria... Well, after years of correcting people and being embarrassed by his girly name, he changed it to Torr. Boy, has his life turned around. Whenever he tells people his name now, they always say, "Wow, THAT is a cool name!" and they take a step back because his name is so powerful, they think he's going to pull out his magic hammer and hit them in the head. He's loving his name now. It's probably one of the most masculine names I've ever heard. Funny, because he's not really a big tough guy.. :)
