My husband's name is Todd, and 9/10 when he tells people his name they say "Tom?"

aby Says:

Absolutetly a cute name for a boy! Short, simple and not-so-common, it is definitely my all-time favorite! Also the meaning "fox" behind it gives it a sweet and earthly undertone.

Jessica Kainer Says:

Touché :-)

SimoneKadele Says:

No, I think it makes sense- if I was smarter, and realized that almost no one had my name, I wouldn't advertise it either! ;)

Dear Imnotputtingmynameonline...aren't you on the wrong website?

PoppyOrangey Says:

Todd is number 1 on my boy names list. It's cute, simple, easy to spell, and it's fairly uncommon, at least in my area. I can't see anything wrong with it. I also love the sweet, but a little wild meaning of "fox" and there is so much fox decor out there that's simply adorable!

Imnotputtingmynameonline Says:

I have recently come to really like this name. I completely agree with vintageluvs, I like the name Theodore but don't care for the regular nicknames for it.

vintageluvs Says:

Could be a cute nickname for Theodore, just as likely as Tadd, and far less popular than Tedd.

raevynstar Says:

I like this name....I don't see much wrong with it.

AbbyMac Says:

Could never use this after hearing George Carlin's brilliant routine. "Hi I'm Taaad."
