love how Astrid Lindgren came up with the name ( from a lake) ! my parents knew that they will have a Ronja since they first heard the name. In Germany ( where i come from) its a very common but not overused name !

Ronja as Ronja was invented by Astrid Lindgren. She apparently took it from the name of a lake she knew.
