Pretty name, but if you name your kid this, be prepared for lots of people to butcher her name and call her "Pavarti" (pronounced "Poverty"--not good). There was a player on Survivor named Parvati and EVERYONE called her Pavarti.

I absolutely love this name. One of my favorites. Defiantly usable for one to use today. When I see this name I imagine I girl with fair skin and super curly black hair. This name also goes great with many middle names. For example, Parvati Nyx, Parvati Rose, Parvati Emerald, Parvati Marie, Parvati Olga, Parvati Anastasia, Parvati Lavinia, Parvati Selene, Parvati 'Aine, Parvati Athena, Parvati Andromeda, and so many more. I would definatly love to meet a little girl with this name.
