More of a sentence than a name - a lifelong sentence

I personally like this name and the meaning. I probably won't ever use this name, but if for some reason I do I wouldn't use a nickname I like it as is. But if someone chooses to use name Ogden and wants a nickname for him you could use Oggie. It is pronounced exactly the same as Augie which some people may think or ask if it is short for August or Augustus which may makes the name seem are more usable to you. Also when he starts school there might be two kid's with the nickname Augie's but your Oggie is the only Ogden he may share a nickname but the name is all his. There is also the nickname Denny which i like a bit better.

For me this falls under the category of "I can see why some people like it but I really don't." Too stodgy for me.
