Makes me think immediately of the Mariana Trench, which I find very fascinating and interesting. It's not my usual style but I think that namesake alone makes it a much more interesting name.
Thought I would also point out that the Mariana Trench was named after the nearby Mariana Islands, which were named after Queen Mariana of Austria so it also has royal background.
