The word "innocent" is nice and it has a nice meaning and all, but not really a good idea for a name. I could see it work as a surname, but not for a first name

Middle name, maybe?

Everild Says:

I think that the overall tone of the name is sweet, gentle, sophisticated and appropriate. At the very least it would make a nice change from the average, overcompensating, testosterone-gushing boy names we now see today. Although, having said that, "Mr Innocent" does sound a touch odd. Perhaps, in lieu of the recently popular Latin craze, the ancient Innocentius (which, sadly, does not appear to be listed on this site) would make for a more striking first name option?

Either way, Innocent in and of itself is a fairly distinguished choice, and is definitely a name that I would consider.
