I think you may want to get out more in terms of naming, my dear. Colleen, Elle, Guy, Adam, Andrew, Martha, Donna, all mean 'lady' or 'man'. It's commonly done.

I never liked this name before, but it has grown on me. I loved Donna Reed in It's a Wonderful Life and I like its soothing and calm sound, not unwelcome in this chaotic world.
