Bengal cat names are as unique and lively as this special breed of beautiful cats.

Bengal cats are produced by breeding Asian leopard cats with domestic cats, then breeding in further generations with domestic cats to tamp down the animal's wildcat tendencies.

Bengal cats, which are acquired from breeders, are referred to by the number of generations they're removed from the original intermixed pair: F2, F3, and so on. The Cat Fanciers' Association allows in only Bengals that are at least six generations removed from their leopard ancestor.

Bengal cats may be gray or orange in color, their coats might look more striped or more spotted. The beautiful color and pattern of the fur of your Bengal cat may help determine which name fits best.
