I can't believe that I came across this name. Most people will pronounce this "reed-ing", which is how I pronounce the word, in the reading a book sense. However, I know this place, because I was born in Reading, Berkshire, UK. I'll have to search Basingstoke, my current home town - but surely not...??? I can't believe that people are calling kids Reading. Oh, and for the record - Berkshire is Bark-shire - not berk.
