Lyndon is my sons name. The uniqueness and rarity of the name drew me in, and I knew that my son would have it.

Heard a mom say this name at the playground yesterday (although it may have been Linden).

Ruanne Says:

Good idea.

My Great Grandfather was born in Lynden, WA. It would honor him;)

AldabellaxWulfe Says:

I love Lynn for a boy, but it seems a bit insubstantial. Lyndon may make for a fuller, more distinctive choice with 'Lynn' as a sweet nickname. Still, as a name by itself, Lynn is pretty fab!

Fun! He's my oldest (10) and I still love the name. I sometimes wish I would have just spelled it with an O so we didn't always have to correct people but the Westin hotels mean we have lots of soap and stationary with his name on it ;)

LK86 Says:

I don't mind Truman at all! It's not my personal taste but it's clearly a strong boys name :) if you love it I think you should go for it!
I also goes well with your other children's names.
I also have a Weston btw ;) just slightly different spelling. Great name choices!

Thanks for your comment! I have 3 boys and two girls. My girls are Hayden Ryan and Teagan Lane. I love a unisex girls name but don't like questioable boys names. What do you think about Truman? I LOVE it but don't want it to be too out there.

LK86 Says:

I don't think it's necessarily too girly! I personally have only known one and it was spelled Linden and was my friends mom.
I think considering that some of your other kids names are also unisex (Are Hayden, Teagan and Madden boys or girls?) that it could work for you :)

Amy 'Barth' Hilyar Says:

I'm having #6! I was thinking London for a girl and Truman for a boy but now I'm considering Lyndon for a boy or a girl? Is Lyndon too girly? My other kids are Westin, Hayden, Teagan, Madden and Lincoln...
