I clicked this name because it reminds me of my grandmas friend name Hedi, or Hedy ( head-ee) .. I always thought that's such a great name..

I'll have to ask my grandma if Hedi/ Hedy is her given or nickname and ill update, because I agree Hedwig is less attractive ( reminds me of a big around here called an earwig)

Very cute but sophiscated. I also like Hedy. I would love to use Hedwig, but I'm afraid to. Pretty sure that name won't go over well, though I do think it's a strong name. Perhaps Hedda by herself? I still really love it.
