Flower is too generic- it's like Tree or Plant. Why call your kid Tree when you could name them Magnolia? Why name your kid Flower when you could name them Iris?

Flower feels like a generic name. Like we couldn't be bothered to choose from the huge array of plant themed names. I think it's a poor choice for that reason

I like the meaning of the name "Flower", but I still think of the skunk in "Bambi."

A most unimaginative name. I can imagine the embarrassment of such a name

Not too bad.I wouldn't use it, though.

I knew a girl named flower back in elementary, and she'd always deny her name was flower and she told people to call her by amanda or something plain jane

The skunk in Bambi was actually my favorite character when I was younger..

I agree. I think Flower will probably seem super ridiculous to most, though.

I like it. The connection to the skunk in Bambi is one I never would have made and a weak reason for not choosing the name. I think this site is really biased in providing descriptions for names, and sometimes I hate that.
