Beautiful name, but I am not brave enough to use it. It is rather lengthy...

My name is Emmanuelle and I personally love it. 10 letters is not a problem to me, I find it beautiful. I get so many compliments on my name and I think it should be shared with others since it is such a gorgeous name. Almost everyone calls me Emmanuelle instead of a nickname because I feel it is a way to show your individuality.

I first fell in love with the name Emanuel for a girl when I watched the movie 'The Truth About Emanuel' the main characters name was Emanuel and it fit her really nicely. I really like this spelling and for you who don't think Emmanuel was meant to be feminized, Daniel is feminized to Danielle and nobody has a problem with it. So Why is there this issue with Emmanuelle, yeah it's long but a lot of beautiful names are like, Anastaisa, Evangeline. I think its a beautiful name and I'd love to name my daughter this.

The French shorten this name as well as Emmanuel to Manu as a nickname. I think Emma, Elle, and Manu are equally adorable and sort of stand-alone. Emmanuelle is a real name. The French do use Emmanuelle, and I think it could easily translate into the English-speaking world. I do like Emmanuelle, though, maybe because of the religious undertones. Its honoring Jesus without naming your child Jesus.

Even though this name is kinda long it's still very pretty and unique to me and I love the meaning. One can shorten it to Emma or Elle as a nickname.

It is way too long. Emmanuel was not meant to be feminized. Adding extra letters does not make it more girly. It's all the same. Just find a different name.

This particular spelling feels unnecessarily lengthy to me (ten letters!). I think I like the traditional Emanuel/Emmanuel spellings better, even for a girl.
