I love the name Bishop. I am a huge chess player and always wanted to go for a hobby related name. I missed out though because I now have a nephew named Bishop Edward. My brother in law loves chess too. Haha

Bishop is my son's name. Both of us get compliments on his name due to the fact it is/was unique. He loves the fact he's the only one with his name and knows when someone is calling for him specifically, lol, unlike the more popular names where there might be several children with the same name. Over the years I've seen and heard of it used more but it wasn't used widely when i named him 11 years ago.

This name sounds feminine to me. I'm not sure why.
