This is so sweet, yet sophisticated! Love the historical connections, but I don't know if people who don't speak or are acquainted with French (the language) or the name would pronounce it right. They might try to shorten it up to Bart, which isn't bad, just not that good, or Barty, which is cute, and I like Harry Potter, but it's a bit babyish. There are others like Bartou, Bartel, Bate, etc., I guess if you love the name, go for it! It is so darling! Just be prepared for "Can I call him Bart?" or "Does he have a nickname?". I'm not trying to stop anyone or hurt someone's feelings, these were just my opinions! Barthelemy is definitely going on my list of middle names, though! :)
