For me, this is one of the best spellings of the name. I prefer it to Adeline, from the point of view that it takes away the "line" or "lyn" confusion - how to pronounce the name. It is a straight forward phonetic spelling, similar to Madelyn, and therefore, I really like it.

This is the only spelling variation of Adeline that I like. I prefer to keep names simple or with their original spelling.

We named our daughter "Adelyn Grace". We were undecided on a name, and while scrolling through Pinterest for nursery ideas, I saw a room with "Adelyn" above the crib. I ran it by my husband, and we loved it!
