For some reason, I hate Abigail, but love Abby/Abbi/Abbie.

I love the stand alone Abby. My cousin's name is Abby--not Abigail. She wears it so well.

Boring name to me. I'm not a fan of "a" names.

Me too actually - I've been called Abby for a long time and I like Abigail better now, but some people have spelled it Abbie and if it happens again I'm not going to correct them because I think it's... maybe less, um, harsh isn't the word but that's all I can think of. More soft/feminine?

I like the nickname spelt Abbie more than Abby. Much more cute 'n creative!

Abby is sort of cute but also sort of plain. I prefer the full name Abigail with Abby only an occasional nickname
