Anactoria
Anactoria Origin and Meaning
While this might sound like a compound name, blending Anna and Victoria — and perhaps someone has used it as such — it is in fact a Greek name meaning "royal", from the word anaktor, meaning "belonging to the king". It is notably borne by a lover of the ancient poet, Sappho, and the subject of her work, "The Anactoria Poem" (or the "Ode to Anactoria"), which explores beauty and love.
A rare choice that has never appeared in the US stats, Anactoria nevertheless feels approachable and familiar. It has also gained additional literary credentials by being featured in a work by English poet, Algernon Charles Swinburne.
As for the original Anactoria, there is debate on whether it was her real name or not with some scholars speculating that it was a pseudonym for a woman called Anagora.
