These are some of the character names from my upcoming novel, The Mortal Part (the title is from Louise Glueck's poem "The Triumph of Achilles." It is the story of the life of two actors, Sir Hugh Ross and Jonathan Weir, as seen through the eyes of Hugh after Jonathan's sudden death at the age of 58. At 72, Hugh always thought he would die first. Now he must navigate through this first year of bereavement -- from sitting shiva with Jonathan's family to the unveiling of Jonathan's headstone in the "celebrity" Jewish cemetery in Brooklyn.
