favorite Biblical Names

Our children have a biblical theme with their names. Jacob, Noah, Elijah, Anna, and Sadie (which is derived from Sarah.) We would like to have a biblical name for our new baby girl due in March. Here are some names that that may fit. - Created by micheletaylor100

    Lilee for nickname. I love love love this name. I was enchanted when I read in Isaiah 9:13 that "a great light shall arise in Galilee", so beautiful.

    This is a beautiful feminine name found in Acts 16:14, 40 also a friend to Paul.

    I love this name for Mary Magdalen Mark 16:9 has a beautiful scripture on her, "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene"

    Matthew 13:46 He had found one pearl of great price, that is what this sweet baby is for us.

    We like this name found in Romans 16:1 her name is spelled Phebe. I love how it states "I commend unto you Phebe our sister" How perfect!

    For some reason I absolutely LOVE this name but the feed back has not been the best on this uncommon biblical name. Appearently Prisca is a nickname of Priscilla found in 2 Timothy 4:19. There is also a beautiful church in Rome called Santa Prisca

    This is one that I think is a neat name found in Romans, Corinthians, and Act and wife to Aquila and friend to Paul. Very Feminine name

    This is is pretty biblical name meaning rock.

  • Shiloh

    I fell in love with this name back when I was pregnant with Elijah. I love how it refers to the coming of the Messiah but I it may not be as feminine with the meaning "he to whom it belongs" .
