Boys Names Meaning Royal

Names that have the same meaning as my dad's and are not too unusual. Hopefully more traditional sounding names that are not overly popular.
  1. Bardrick

      English

    • Description:

Formerly in style limbo, Edric has recently started to see more use by parents. It could be because it sounds medieval yet accessible - which George R. R. Martin took advantage of for several characters - or because it's an offbeat alternative to the more popular Ed-names.
  3. Harold

      Scandinavian
    • Meaning:

      "army ruler"
    • Description:

      Irish
    • Meaning:

More authentic and original form of Ryan, but far less common of the two spellings in the US. There were about 170 baby boys named Rian in the US last year, versus over 4000 named Ryan.
