My Try It Out List

A personal list in which I take favorite names from my private lists to create combos and see how it looks. Inspired by constellations and space, classic old soul, and a little bit of rock and jazz.

Margaret is derived from the French Marguerite, which in turn came from Margarita, the Latin form of the Greek Margarites. Margarites was based on the Old Persian word margārīta, meaning "pearl."
  3. Maximilian
    • Origin:

      Latin
    • Meaning:

      "greatest"
    • Description:

This name once seemed a bit grand and pompous for an American baby boy, but a significant number of parents are now preferring it as a substantial platform for the nickname Max, among them Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, who chose it for their twin son.
  4. Serenity
    • Origin:

      Latin
    • Meaning:

      "peaceful"
    • Description:

Peaceful, calm, and untroubled: these are qualities parents may be hoping for, either on their parenting journey or in their child’s life. The name Serenity encapsulates these hopes, conjuring up a sense of balance, composure, and ease.
